This policy covers this hub page, run by Zach, a U.S. Army recruiter who posts as @armyrecruiter.zach. It is a personal recruiting resource, not an official U.S. Army or Department of Defense website. It explains what this page collects when you visit or click through to the Army's eligibility form, what that information is used for, and the choices you have.
1. The breakdown form
The "Get your breakdown" button on this hub takes you to the official U.S. Army Eligibility Form at tinyurl.com/RealArmyInfo, which is run by the U.S. Army. That form asks for:
- Your first name
- A phone number or email address where you can be reached
- Your age range and education level
- What matters most to you: pay, tuition help, job skills or travel
This hub does not receive, see or store your answers. They go straight into the Army's own system and are handled under the Army's own privacy practices. Do not put sensitive information in any form field: no Social Security numbers, no medical details, no financial account numbers. Sending the form does not enlist you, sign you up for anything, or obligate you in any way. It is a request for information.
2. What is collected automatically
When you arrive from a social post, a bio link or an ad, the link carries a tag (called a UTM tag) that names the platform, for example Instagram or Google. This page reads that tag so your visit and any click through to the eligibility form can be credited to the platform that sent you. The tracking tags described below also collect standard technical information, such as your browser type, device type, approximate location from your IP address, and which parts of this site you view.
3. Cookies and tracking tags
This page runs its measurement tags from one setup, so they all fire from the same place:
- Google Ads (the Google tag). Installed on this page. It measures when a visitor clicks through to the official eligibility form after an ad click, so ads can be aimed at what actually works. Because the form itself is on the Army's site, that click-through is the "Submit lead form" conversion.
- Google Analytics (GA4). Installed on this page (measurement ID G-0CCBSPERQ2). It counts visits and shows which platforms send the most people through to the form.
- Meta pixel. Installed on this page (pixel ID 1031943029780108). It records visits and clicks through to the eligibility form, so follow-up ads on Instagram and Facebook can reach people who visited this page.
These tags use cookies and similar technology. Google explains its data practices at policies.google.com/privacy, and Meta explains its own at facebook.com/privacy/policy. You can turn off personalized ads in your Google account's ad settings and in your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. This page and its form still work if you do.
4. How your information is used
- To see which platforms and posts lead to real requests, so content and ad effort go to what helps people most
- To follow up about breakdown requests that come in through the official form
That is the whole list. Information collected on this page is not used for any other purpose.
5. Sharing
Your form information is never sold, and it is never shared with marketers or data brokers. The only companies that receive data from this page are Google and Meta, through the tags above, as visit and conversion measurements covered by their own privacy policies. Information would only be disclosed beyond that if the law required it.
6. How long it is kept
This hub does not store form submissions at all. Requests sent through the official Army form are kept under the Army's own retention practices. The measurement data from your visit is held by Google and Meta under their own policies, and you can clear this page's cookies at any time in your browser.
7. Your choices and rights
- Ask what information from your visit is on file here, and get a copy of it
- Ask for it to be corrected or deleted
- Ask not to be contacted again, and the follow-ups stop
- Turn off ad personalization with Google and Meta, and block cookies in your browser
To use any of these, send a message to @armyrecruiter.zach on Instagram. Requests are handled by a person, not a ticket system, so allow a few days for a reply.
8. Age
This page and its form are intended for people 17 and older who are weighing enlistment, college or trade school. It is not directed at children under 13, and if a submit turns out to be from a child under 13, it will be deleted.
9. Security
Reasonable steps are taken to protect the information submitted here, but no website or messaging system can promise perfect security. Only send through the form what you are comfortable sharing.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date at the top. Changes apply from the date they are posted.
11. Questions
Message @armyrecruiter.zach on Instagram with any question about this policy or your information.
*Eligibility varies. Nothing on this page guarantees pay, a bonus, tuition help, a specific job or any other outcome. Options depend on your qualifications and what is open when you apply.
